When someone addicted to alcohol
decides to enter recovery, there are several phases that he will pass through
along the way. The first stage of recovery involves the clearing of the body of
the immediate effects of alcohol. The alcoholic will experience several days of detoxification
with various symptoms. Some of these symptoms will be physical, while others
will be of a psychological nature.
Types of Alcohol Treatment:
ChristianAlcohol Treatment - For many patients participating in a Christian
or faith based program offers additional benefits and allows them to draw
strength from their faith.
Adolescent Alcohol Treatment - Although it is not something we would expect but teenage alcoholism is on the rise and there are some great programs created especially to help treat and deal with the problems of adolescent alcohol treatment.
Out Patient Alcohol Treatment - Out patient alcohol treatment is ideal for patients that have less severe alcohol addictions, in sufficient time to participate in an inpatient program or possibly who are on the second stage of recovery after an inpatient program.
In Patient
Alcohol Treatment - In patient alcohol treatment is for those who
have had serious alcohol problems for many years, have already tried to and
failed to get sober or who feel that they would not have the support or
strength to complete an outpatient program.
